How to Find Us

Directions to and from Oak House - Front Entrance.  Parking is available at the front and to the end of Oak House.

Approaching from Canwick Road / Pelham Bridge direction

If travelling from the south of the city drive over Pelham Bridge to first set of traffic lights – you are now on Broadgate. At the next set of traffic lights (pedestrian crossing), turn left onto Saltergate – this is a one-way system. Follow the road round as far as Silver Street where you will turn right and stay in the right-hand lane to turn right into Broadgate at the traffic lights.

**Travel through 2 more sets of traffic lights (pedestrian crossings) staying in the left-hand lane, and turn left into Waterside South (just before the footbridge over Broadgate). Drive along this road with the river on your left for about ¼ mile. Continue past the front entrance to Dragons Health Club until you see the road bridge over the river. You are now approaching Oak House – we are just before Beech House, which is the last building. There are some parking spaces in front of Oak House, or if occupied there is a large car park further along past Beech House.

The front door to Oak House will be open until 7.30pm. After this time you will need to walk past Beech House and then round to the back of the buildings. Walk past the back of Beech House and you will see the back door to Oak House. Telephone 01522 576659 to gain entry.

Please note - There is no through road from the rear car park to the front car park

Approaching from Lindum Hill

At the major junction at the bottom of Lindum Hill go straight over the traffic lights staying in the left-hand lane. Continue from ** above.

To leave Oak House from front of building

To return via Pelham Bridge

Drive back along Waterside South to Broadgate. Turn left into Broadgate to take you back to Pelham Bridge.

To return via Lindum Hill

Drive back along Waterside South to Broadgate. Turn left into Broadgate and stay in the left-hand lane. Turn left immediately after the last pedestrian crossing before Pelham Bridge and follow the road round to the right and under Pelham Bridge. Take the right-hand lane as you turn into St Mary’s Street, and then turn right to take you round the Grand Hotel and up to the traffic lights. You will then be back on Broadgate facing Lindum Hill.
